46/56 "Making it Vivid" using WordWeb Games

* Language Focus : Vacabularly (Adjective, Adverb)

I believe that it is very important to learn about the adjective and the adverb as much as we can, to express what you think cleary and vividly.
How can we (as a language teacher) help to build up students' vocabulary ability ?

Activity 1. Use Classroom Objects
  • Make a group of 2. Each group has 3 or 4 members.
  • Teacher writes nouns randomly on the board. ex) girl, boy, dest, dress, hamburger...
  • Students unscramble or make own sentence using displayed words.
  • Teacher should go first saying one simple sentence. ex) I like the girl.
  • Student add words to it and extend sentence. ex) I like the girl in pink dress.
  • To make it vivid, the group using many adjective or adverb will win this game.

+Tip : This site will help students learn more adjective for people by guessing and assembling word pieces.
