* Tell me how to do it !
- Tell students about a novel that you have read reacently. Describe the characters and elements of the plot. Try to give them and authentic flavor of the book. You may even choose to read passages from it. Make it interesting, but don’t give away the ending.
- Organize a weekly slot for book presentations and encourage the students to sign up each week.
- Make it clear that their presentations can take different forms. They could be similar to the one that you have given. Alternatively, they could be question and answer sessions or students readings from the book.
Prepare the transparency for the class to do as a class activity the first few times. Later the students should be able to do this on their own.
